Basic Japanese Language and Culture 1

The course is design to equip the beginning learner of Japanese competency to communicate in simple and appropriate Japanese, as well as enough knowledge of the language to continue language studies to a higher proficiency equivalent to level 4 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). This pre-supposes mastery of the Kanas and around the hundred of the Kanji characters.
