Maintenance of large vehicles is essential for supporting stable human and material flows. Building on our track record of providing education to automotive maintenance interns from the Philippines, we are currently conducting specialized training in large vehicle maintenance locally in the Philippines.

Achievements (Comulative as of January 2024)

• Number of Japanese workers: 2,000 Out of approximately 4,000 foreign technical interns specializing in maintenance, we have secured approximately half of the share.
• Absconding Rate: 0% (Since 2017) As host companies, the most crucial issue to avoid is the absconding of foreign technical interns.

Training Module

Basic Items

• Basic maintenance of large vehicles, inspection contents, and names of tools used for daily inspections.

Tires

• Regular tire inspection: Checking air pressure, damage, and wear condition.
• Tire removal, installation, visual inspection for visible damage, and checking for slip signs.

Brakes

• Brake pad replacement
• Inspection and maintenance of brake fluid, brake lever, brake pedal, etc.
• Brake fluid replenishment, checking for foreign matter contamination, pedal feel, effectiveness, and checking for discomfort when depressing the brake pedal.

Engine Oil

• Replacement work with the engine either not running or having been stopped for more than 30 minutes.
• Post-replacement engine operation check, checking for abnormal noises, inserting grease, etc.

Air Tank

• Checking for water inside the air tank, draining from the drain cock.

Lighting Equipment & Turn Signals

• Checking the operation of lighting equipment and turn signals, checking for dirt or damage.

Windshield Washer

• Checking washer fluid, spray condition, and confirming the normal values ​​of spray position and spray amount.

Wipers

• After windshield washer operation, checking the condition of the wipers.
• Checking for unevenness or abnormal noise, and confirming the operation of the wipers (INT [intermittent], LOW [low-speed], HI [high-speed]).

Vehicle Inspection

• Steering device check such as steering wheel and brakes.
• Inspection around tires and wheels.

Guidance for 3-month and 6-month inspections

• Confirmation of suspension and other cushioning devices.
• Confirmation of 50 items such as battery, engine area, etc.
• Checking for loosening of seat belts, bolts, nuts, etc.
• Checking for damage to various parts, wear-prone areas, and 22 other items.

Individual Orders

• Engine overhaul work.
• Sheet metal, painting, and other related work related to large vehicle maintenance.
• Special maintenance for each company.
